We write to you to tell people whose profession is related (press, shops, hotels, galleries) about the work of Carlos Pollock.
What we hold and where it came from
We hold your name, your professional email address, the name of your organisation and your role if it is public, and the messages we exchange.
This information came from public professional pages, for example the website or the masthead of your publication or business. We did not buy a list.
Why we may do this and who sees it
Our legal reason is legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f); LGPD art. 7, IX), which means the law allows us to tell professionals about work that relates to their profession. You can object at any time.
Only the studio sees your data. We do not sell it and we do not use it for anything else. Our email runs on Google Workspace, so Google stores the messages for us.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while we are in contact about the work of Carlos Pollock, and at most 12 months after our last message.
If you ask us to stop, we stop and delete your data at once.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to object, and to ask for a copy.
You can write to [email protected]. We answer within one month.
Where to complain
You can complain to a data protection authority, which is the public body that supervises these rules.
In the European Union, you can complain to the authority of your own country. In Brazil, you can complain to the ANPD (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados).
